No cars, no trains; the only transportation to Tangier Island is by boat or by small airplane. When you arrive, plan to leisurely stroll around the island. Rental transportation is available: Bicycles -Contact Joan with the Waterfront Restaurant at Tele: 757 891-2248. In regards to Golf Cart Rentals, contact the Sunset Inn Bed and Breakfast at 757 891-2535. There are several Golf Cart Tour Groups (see above) on the island that can accommodate you in regards to transportation. around the island.
